This Caltrans project in Northern Los Angeles County added HOV lanes in both direction on Interstate 5 in the Sylmar area.

C.C. Myers, Inc, as subcontractor to Chumo Construction, widened the existing concrete box girder bridge, lengthened the existing pedestrian overcrossing and constructed sound walls. Various types of median concrete barriers were modified at the I-5 undercrossing and the I-5 / I-405 separation.
