The Merced River Bridge Replacement project entails removing the existing bridge and replacing it with a 178 meter long, 12.9 meter wide four-span, cast-in-place (CIP) box girder bridge built on cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) pile.
Work began in June 2008 and is estimated to be completed in October 2009.
