AGC describes the Build America winners as people who "embody the industry at its best and truly illustrate how AGC contractors are building America's quality of life."
At this year's event, the surprise presentation of the Grand Award was made to C.C. Myers, Inc. CEO, C.C. Myers, and the company's Vice President, Gary Janco. AGC is the oldest and largest construction trade association in the US.
