The 18th Annual TRANNY Awards luncheon was held June 6, 2007 at the Sacramento Convention Center. These prestigious awards are presented by the California Transportation Foundation recognizing projects that represent excellence in transportation. Awards were presented to finalists in 11 different categories with each category becoming eligible for the Project of the Year Award.
C.C. Myers, Inc., along with the City of Napa, URS, the bridge design firm, and Caltrans District 4, received an award as a finalist in the “Highway Conventional Project of the Year” for the Maxwell Bridge Replacement project in the City of Napa. At the end of the awards presentation, the Maxwell Bridge Replacement, competing against the Camino Del Sur Bridge in San Diego, won the Project of the Year Award. CTF-California Transportation Foundation, who awards the TRANNYs, also presented a Special Award “...to C.C. Myers, Inc, under the leadership of its founder and CEO C.C. Myers, for exceptional delivery of a significant transportation asset for the State of California,” for the MacArthur Maze Reconstruction Project which was completed in May in a record 17 days.
